Programme FAQs

When does your graduate programme start?

Training begins in July 2021 and graduates will start working as Brand Ambassadors in September 2021.

What does a Brand Ambassador do?

You will be promoting our brands to consumers and bartenders. You will do this by holding brand education sessions and whisky tastings, building strong relationships and supporting brand events.

Where will I be based?

You could be working in any of our key international markets. We will confirm this if and when we offer you a placement. The Chivas Brothers International Graduate programme now has 50 Ambassadors in 27 countries around the world including South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

How many graduates will you be taking on?

The numbers vary year on year. On average, we recruit around 20 Graduate Ambassadors onto the programme per year.

Will I be given training?

Yes, you will undertake an intensive four week training programme across the UK, learning all about Scottish whisky from the best in business. In addition, we will provide you with the skills required to represent Chivas Brothers with pride and authenticity.

How long will I be in the role?

You will be based in your country for two years. For graduates that perform well, you could be offered a third year on the programme as a Brand Ambassador in a different market; or as a Marketing Associate in our London offices. This could be the start of a life long career with Pernod Ricard.
