Programme FAQs

When does your graduate programme start?

Training begins in August 2018 and graduates will start working as Brand Ambassadors in September 2018.

What does a Brand Ambassador do?

You’ll be promoting our brands to consumers and bartenders. You’ll do this by holding brand education sessions, building strong relationships and supporting brand events.

Where will I be based?

You could be working in any of our key international markets. We’ll confirm this if and when we offer you a placement. Chivas Brothers’ International Graduate Programme now has 52 Ambassadors in 28 countries around the world, including North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia!

How long will I be in the role?

You’ll be based in your country for two years. For graduates who perform well, this could be the start of a lifelong career with Pernod Ricard.

What does career progression look like?

This is down to you and your success in the role over two years – graduates have undertaken a third year within Chivas Brothers’ marketing or in their country with additional marketing responsibilities. Please take a look at our Career Progression page.

How many graduates will you be taking on?

The numbers vary year on year, for example in 2017, we recruited 26 Graduate Ambassadors to the programme.

Will I be given training?

Yes, you will undertake an intensive five week training programme across the UK, learning all about Scotch whisky and English Gins from the best in the business. In addition, we will provide you with the skills required to represent Chivas Brothers.
